This game is really awesome. I’m not big on hunting games, but this game makes it more action oriented by detracting a bit from the realism so you encounter animals more frequently. I haven’t played any of the other Cabelas games, but I’ve heard this one is the best. I had a recent urge to play a hunting game and found ‘the hunter’, a ‘f2p’ hunting game but the microtransactions are god awful and ruin the experience, luckily, Cabela’s BGH exists.

Generally realistic, but with some flaws. I have no idea at with distance the scope is zeroed which made the experience hard. That is so stupid. Played this for several hours with my 6 year old daughter and she loved the game but for an adult it becomes repetitive after a while. Cool game just the mouse lags on pc version if it didn’t lag I would give this 5 stars but with the lag the game is harder to play.
