During install, I allowed install tool to uninstall my previous version Office Enterprise. It appeared to work fine. Software works fine. I did not do anything else to my system in the meantime. I attempted to repair the Office install to no avail I have tried a few other approaches, including the manual removal method outline in KB , and I still cannot install it.

When I try to uninstall the Windows installer packages in Step 1 of KB, the systems tells me that I cannot run install until a previous installation is completed.
